ABOUT ME

My name is Daria and I am passionate about helping individuals regain confidence in their cognitive and communication abilities to participate in activities meaningful to them and am passionate about helping families and individuals have a safe space to discuss brain changes and concerns for themselves or a loved one. I provide education, support, and personalized plans to caregivers to best support their needs to care for their loved ones within their homes. I am dedicated to a practice of ongoing learning and growth to best support you and your loved ones.

I am a board-certified Speech Pathologist specializing in treating adults with neurological impairments that impact speech, language, cognition, and swallowing function. I am licensed in several states including North Carolina, Colorado, Florida, and California and am certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner,  Lingraphica Certified Technology Specialist, am a SPEAK OUT!® Provider for individuals with Parkinson's, and am a recipient of the ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE) for achievement in clinical learning.

I have worked in a variety of settings including home health, skilled nursing, independent living, assisted living, and acute care. I have a passion for helping individuals and families work toward goals that improve their quality of life.
