Virtual Cognitive Engagement Classes
Cognitive engagement groups focus on brain health through lifelong learning. These weekly sessions encourage mental stimulation through engaging topics while enhancing memory, language, cognitive skills, and socialization, led by a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist. My hope for these classes is to provide a space for individuals experience brain changes, to still be able to engage in learning and new experiences, while having the supports they need!

Classes are 4 weeks long and are held virtually. A variety of topics will be offered for courses and day/time may vary depending on the course you sign up for. To learn more about the program, and to be kept up to date on upcoming courses, please sign up using this link.
Group Format
Small groups of ~5-8 people will join together in a video call to engage in an interactive, multisensory learning experience.
Engaging Topics
Topics vary based on interest. This is a safe space to exercise your mind, working on memory, word finding, reading, etc without the pressure of perfection. Exercises will be provided for you to do on your own as well outside of our classes.
Multiple Benefits
Cognitive Benefits: As we get older, the opportunity to exercise our mind becomes more limited. Research shows that cognitive stimulation is most effective when you are learning something new and engaging in topics that you enjoy!

Social Benefits: Studies shows that loneliness and lack of socialization can lead to memory loss and increase the risk of brain changes. Cognitive engagement groups provide a weekly opportunity to engage with new people.

Lifelong Learning and Fun: Exercise your mind in a way that is fun! We will all learn together in a supportive, low-pressure environment!
